What is Defense of the Ancients?

Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) is a custom scenario for Warcraft III The Frozen Throne based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for Starcraft The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents' "Ancient". The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing-game, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

The scenario was developed with the World of Editor of Warcraft III Reign of Chaos , and was updated upon the release of the Warcraft expansion The Frozen Throne. There have been many variations of the original concept; currently, the most popular is DotA Allstars, which has been maintained by several authors during development.

Since its release, Allstars has become a feature at several worldwide tournaments, including Blizzard Entertainment’s BlizzCon and the Asian World Cyber Games, as well as the Cyberathlete Amateur and CyberEvolution leagues; Gamasutra declared that DotA was perhaps the most popular "free, non-supported game mod in the world". The variant is cited as an inspiration for the upcoming video game Demigod

Updating your DotA 6.58 (2 heroes remade)

I’m so glad to have DotA 6.58 Map. This post will be place for sharing picture of the official map. Two heroes remade completely. This post It makes sure how to use it well. So let’s check it out.

Dirge - Undying:
Status has been changed
Range: 100 MoveSp: 310
Str: 25 + 2.1 Cast Point 0.45
Agi: 10 + 0.8 Hero Class: Strength
Int: 27 + 2.8

Skills
1. Decay
Dirge saps away the strength of enemy heroes and retains it for a period of time.
Steals 4 Strength from each hero for few seconds

2. Soul Rip
Redirects the flow of living energy through a target friend or foe, damaging them or healing them depending on how many units are near it. 25 for each unit.

3. Tombstone
Unholy powers summon a cursed tombstone. Zombies will frequently spawn near each enemy unit and attack them. Zombies have a passive that additively slow their target by 7%. Zombies cannot be controlled.

4. Flesh Golem
Dirge's hatred for all living beings allows him to transform into a monster. While he's transformed he carries a plague that affects nearby enemy units. Strength of the plague depends on how close the enemy is. Amplifies damage enemy units receive and reduces their movement speed (7%). When a plagued unit dies, its essence is transferred back to the Undying.

Storm Spirit – Raijin Thunderkeg:

Str: 17 + 1.5 Int: 23 + 2.6
Agi: 22 + 1.8

Skills
1. Static Remnant
Raijin creates a remnant of himself containing his essence. The Static Remnant will release its stored energy whenever an enemy units comes near it. Lasts up to 12 seconds.

2. Electric Vortex
Storm focuses his energy to rip open a vortex drawing an enemy to it. This process slows the Storm Spirit down for a brief period.

3. Overload
Storm Spirit becomes overloaded with electrical energy whenever he casts a spell. The charge is released on his next attack as an electrical burst, dealing damage and slowing nearby units.

4. Ball Lightning
Storm Spirit becomes enveloped with energy, losing his physical form, and travels until he depletes his mana or chooses to stop. While in this form, he deals damage to nearby units based on how far his electrical form has traversed. Damage, speed and area of effect improves per level. Stops traveling whenever you run out of mana. Deals damage in a small area around you based on distance traveled.
