What is Defense of the Ancients?

Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) is a custom scenario for Warcraft III The Frozen Throne based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for Starcraft The objective of the scenario is to destroy the opponents' "Ancient". The two teams' ancients are heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters called "creeps". As in role-playing-game, players level up their hero and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

The scenario was developed with the World of Editor of Warcraft III Reign of Chaos , and was updated upon the release of the Warcraft expansion The Frozen Throne. There have been many variations of the original concept; currently, the most popular is DotA Allstars, which has been maintained by several authors during development.

Since its release, Allstars has become a feature at several worldwide tournaments, including Blizzard Entertainment’s BlizzCon and the Asian World Cyber Games, as well as the Cyberathlete Amateur and CyberEvolution leagues; Gamasutra declared that DotA was perhaps the most popular "free, non-supported game mod in the world". The variant is cited as an inspiration for the upcoming video game Demigod

The one of popular ninja in anime, that is NARUTO. Naruto in Warcraft III, we call it Naruto Battle Royal (NBR). You can learn how it plays, strategy, and characters from this page.

Learning How to Play NBR :

You can choose one of many characters in this map with different abilities of each character. The characters are from Ninja (Jounin), Teacher (Sensei), Legendary Three Ninja (Densetsu no Sannin) and even AKATSUKI. You just fight each other with maximum power that you had before.

Akatsuki is a criminal organization composed of ten high-level ninja that have defected from their village of origin. The group receives little attention during the first part of the series, only becoming main antagonists in Part II. Akatsuki members are characterized by their long, dark cloaks bearing red clouds with a chin-high collar. Each also possesses a unique ring, which seems to symbolize one's membership in the organization. Members are partnered together in teams of two, each team sticking together as they traverse the Naruto world. Despite this partnership, members tend to have a strained relationship with their peers, only cooperating enough to complete their assignments and showing little concern when another member is killed. Orochimaru defects from the organization before the start of the series, taking his ring with him, and thus Akatsuki never exceeds nine members during the current storyline.
